Dear Members,

You are cordially invited to attend the Annual General Meeting of Association Tamagor, which will be held virtually on Wednesday, December 2, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.

This annual meeting is an opportunity to review the Association’s activities, provide updates on current matters, and allow members to vote on the issues brought before the meeting.

You will find the relevant documents under the “General Meeting” section of the Documents page on our website.

We hope to see many of you there!

Our annual spring gathering is just around the corner! It’s time to come together, give our beautiful lakes a fresh start — and enjoy a great moment as a community.

The Association’s spring cleanup will take place on Saturday, May 2 starting at 10 a.m., followed by a lunch at Lac Noir beach. As a thank you for your help, the Association will provide hot dogs cooked over the fire.

As tradition goes, our potluck will bring everything together into a warm and generous buffet. Please bring your favorite snacks to share, as well as non-alcoholic beverages. We also encourage everyone to bring reusable dishware to help reduce waste.

In a spirit of cooperation and fun, young and old alike — everyone can lend a hand. Together, we make all the difference!

• Pick up trash and broken branches
• Sweep and clean the outhouses and changing area
• Rake the lakebed at the beach to remove leaves and algae
• Maintain the trail around the lake
• Put picnic tables back in place
• Remove ashes from the fire pit (and place them in the outhouse)
• Cut broken trees if needed

• Install the dock
• Install a few signs
• Rake leaves
• Pick up trash and broken branches

• Rake sand on the slope and beach
• Pick up debris in the parking area

To participate, simply come to one of the two sites at 10 a.m. and bring any tools for the task you’d like to help with. Rakes, wheelbarrows, and gloves are especially useful — if you have them, please bring them along!

The Autumn 2025 newsletter of the Tamagor Association is now available! It highlights recent news from the Association, recent activities, and a few important reminders for members. We invite you to take a moment to read it and stay up to date with what’s happening in our community.

Dear members,

During the first call, the Annual General Meeting could not be held due to a lack of quorum.  The Board of Directors is therefore convening a second Annual General Meeting, which will be held virtually via Zoom on Tuesday, December 2nd at 7:00 p.m.

Your presence is important to ensure the proper conduct of your Association’s business.

You will find the relevant documents under the General Meetings heading of the Documents for Members page of our website.

The Association is currently seeking a volunteer to take on the role of road maintenance coordinator. If you have experience in this area — or simply want to contribute to the quality of life in your neighborhood — please don’t hesitate to reach out. Your involvement would truly make a difference!

Despite the current vacancy, localized maintenance work will be carried out on our private roads in the coming weeks. Specifically, gravel will be added to sunken areas to fill potholes and improve surface drainage.

In addition, the two culverts located at the entrance to Chemin de la Mésange will be replaced this season. One is permanently blocked and the other is undersized for spring runoff. They will be replaced with a larger-diameter culvert to improve water flow. This work aims to prevent the occasional flooding that sometimes occurs at the bottom of Chemin de la Mésange during the spring thaw or heavy rainfall.

A full grading of the roads is scheduled for the fall, before the arrival of winter.

As always, we invite you to report any significant deterioration — such as potholes, erosion gullies, depressions, or blocked ditches — by emailing chemins@tamagor.ca.

Our annual meeting is approaching! It’s almost time to spruce up our magnificent lakes. The Association’s “Spring Cleaning” activity will take place on Saturday May 17th from 10 a.m. and will be followed by a potluck snack at the Lac Noir beach.

The Association offers you hot dogs on the fire, chips, and non-alcoholic drinks to thank you for the elbow grease offered. And as tradition dictates, the magic will work to create, with your small dishes, a beautiful festive buffet on a picnic table. Please bring your reusable tableware, we are trying to create as little waste as possible.

With love for our beaches, everyone can contribute, young and old; there is a task for everyone:

• Raking the sand on the descent and on the beach
• Removing any fallen branches
• Removing any debris from the parking area

Please simply show up at one of the two sites at 10 a.m. with your tools to undertake a task that entices you. Rakes, wheel-barrels, and gloves are popular every year: if you bring them, they’ll be very useful!

Members interested in discussing possible solutions for the presence and movement of non-members at Mud Bay as well as improving its appearance are invited to a meeting at 1 p.m. at Mud Bay.

An Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) of the members of the Tamagor Association will be held on Saturday June 15^th at 1 p.m. in the Marcel-Périard hall of the Perkins Library at 17 chemin du Manoir in Val-des-Monts to discuss the financial assistance program for private roads open to the public by tolerance of the municipality.
